Tactical Assault Gear, known throughout the world as T.A.G, was founded in 2001 in a 1,000 square foot retail shop in Imperial Beach, CA. Today Tactical Assault Gear stays true to its founding vision—to create and develop cutting edge tactical gear for today's Military and Law Enforcement who are protecting our country. Critical to that is proper equipment weight management which reduces heat stress, heat casualties, water consumption, back pain, shoulder/neck pain, knee injuries, ankle and foot injuries just to name a few. The days of making gear "bomb proof" by using 3 to 4 layers of 1000 weight nylon are over. An advance in materials and feedback from operators has lead to the development of what we believe to be the best gear T.A.G. has ever produced!
