German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge
Since its introduction in 1972, the Stabrite German armed forces proficiency badge has been worn in the German military by all three branches. Although approval for wearing this badge is usually limited to only German Army soldiers, individuals in the U.S. Army can wear it under certain circumstances. The images on this badge depict a German eagle being surrounded by a wreath comprised of oak leaves. The badge can come in one of three colors depending on the grade being awarded. These colors are gold, silver and bronze. Decorating your uniform with this badge indicates that you have completed the necessary requirements, including a basic fitness test and a first aid course. Ira Green, Inc. makes a long line of Stabrite insignia that are approved for wear by soldiers all over the world. Stabrite badges stand apart from the rest largely due to the fact that Stabrite applies a subdued finish to every Armed Forces badge. This leads to a final product that exceeds expectations and looks incredibly professional on uniforms.
