HOW TO CLEAN GARMONT BOOTS
We know cleaning your boots is a real pain, but it does help extend their life. Since Garmont boots are made from hide-out leather, we recommend you dry-brush them with a soft bristle brush at least once per week. This helps keep dirt and salt from building up and breaking down your leather. A toothbrush works really well for this if you don't want to buy a boot brush. Once a month you'll want to do a more extensive cleaning of your combat boots to keep them fresh. Use cleaning compounds like the ones in Kiwi's Suede and Nylon Footwear Care kit or just gentle detergent mixed with water. Give your boots a gentle scrub and then carefully rinse away all of the soap and dirt. All that's left is to let them dry. We recommend
filling them with newspaper or a shoe tree to help maintain their shape while drying.

GARMONT T8 NFS V.S. BIFIDA
The primary difference between the Garmont T8 Bifida and the Garmont T8 NFS is in the midsole. The T8 Bifida boots have a more rugged midsole and outsole featuring heavy lugs and deep grooves for better stability in rough terrain. The T8 NFS is built on an athletic last that makes the boot lighter, and more nimble, and gives the wearer a tennis shoe-like feel. If you are deploying or are going on a field exercise where durability and support are your main concern, we would recommend you choose the Garmont T8 Bifida 8-inch boot. If you're looking for a boot for long runs or rucks and want to feel like you're wearing a pair of trainers, the lightweight T8 NFS are likely to better suit your needs. Both pairs of boots are top quality and will stand up to punishment, so choose the one that will perform better in your circumstance.
GARMONT MILITARY BOOTS
Although Garmont started as a hiking and climbing boot maker, in 2008 they got a chance to work with the United States Special Forces to design a boot specifically for Spec-Op missions. From this partnership, Garmont Tactical was born. Garmont serves the military boot market well with
4 key styles: the T8 Bifida, the T8 NFS, the T8 Extreme, and the T8 Extreme GTX. Each of these boots meets specific criteria for soldiers and performs well in the field. The T8 Bifida Boot is a classic military combat boot meant to give support and take lots of abuse. The Bifida boot has big lugs, a sturdy last, and a comfortable Ortholite insole. The Garmont T8 NFS or Need For Speed is built for mobility and comfort when running or navigating obstacle courses. The T8 Extreme and T8 Extreme GTX are built for cold weather climates, featuring insulation and, in the case of the GTX, Goretex lining for water resistance.
GARMONT ARMY BOOTS
Every one of Garmont's coyote boots meets the Army's AR670-1 guidelines for wear. Suede leather uppers and a cap toe as well as maintaining their 8" height keep them compliant. The top-selling boots by Garmont to our Army customers are the T8 Bifida 8 and the T8 NFS boot. These boots are perfect for everyday wear, field exercises, and deployments, offering comfort and protection and high performance in multi-terrain environments. Garmont Army boots will hold up to the rigors of use and provide you with a comfortable and supportive wearing experience. For wet climates, the Garmont T8 Extreme and the Garmont T8 Extreme GTX boots will offer even greater protection and durability.
GARMONT T8 BIFIDA
The Garmont T8 Bifida is the boot you imagine when someone says "army boots." These boots have a Vibram outsole for maximum traction under heavy load and an injected nylon footbed for comfort and stability and shock absorption. If stability and durability are your primary requirements, the T8 Bifida is the boot for you.
GARMONT T8 NFS
I gotta need. The need for speed! That's why Garmont built the NFS, to be quick and lightweight. The NFS fits and performs like a trainer but still has a rugged design that will stand up to everyday use. If you are looking for your next ruck boots or a pair of boots for your next training day, look no further than the Garmont T8 NFS.
