This compact, multiple-output helmet LED light is capable of producing three white LEDs, two red LEDs and one blinking infrared LED that also serves as a potentially life-saving Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) beacon. The white primary LEDs are superb for illuminating general-purpose, close-up work while the secondary red LEDs serve the same purpose except in a low-signature, night-vision-friendly color.

This body of this LED helmet light is made of a durable, watertight polymer body in desert tan, so it is uniform-friendly in terms of blending in. This light attaches to any Modular Integrated Communications Helmet (MICH) via an ambidextrous mount (included) that comes with 20 preset positions. These allow the light to be rotated 360 degrees when attached for complete versatility. Once either of the mounts has been attached to the helmet, this helmet light can be quickly and easily donned and locked securely in place. To unlock the light, simply press a lever on the mount, which allows you to quickly remove it for servicing or transfer onto the optional Z71 carry clip. This clip can be attached to any MOLLE or ALICE vest.
