J. Clovis Yates
MSG Clovis Yates is a decorated veteran of over
twenty plus years of the United States Army. Clovis served in storied units,
including the 4th Infantry Division, the 101st Airborne
Division (Air Assault), the 10th Mountain Division. MSG Yates served
two combat tours in Iraq and two combat tours in Afghanistan. He started
graduating OSUT from Fort Benning as an Infantryman and his military education
includes Ranger School, Airborne, Air Assault, Pathfinder, Master Leader’s
Course, Master Educator’s Course, Joint Firepower Course,
Observer-Coach/Trainer academy, University Senior Leader’s Course, FRIES/SPIES
and Rappel Master Courses, along with various other courses. He held various roles
and leadership positions, including Rifle Platoon Sergeant, Scout Platoon Sergeant,
Pre-Ranger NCOIC Fort Campbell, Rifle Company First Sergeant, AC/RC Team NCOIC,
and Senior Military Science Instructor.
In his spare time, Clovis enjoys wood working and other
outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting, and shooting.
