Captain Josh Sandhaus is a decorated veteran with a distinguished career in the United States Army. Commissioned from the United States Military Academy at West Point, he served in multiple leadership positions, including Rifle Platoon Leader, Scout Platoon Leader, Battalion and Brigade Operations Officer, and Company Commander.

Josh served in storied combat units, including the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and the 4th Infantry Division. Captain Sandhaus had combat deployments to Afghanistan (2 Tours) and Iraq (1 Tour). He graduated from the U.S. Army Ranger School, Airborne School, Air Assault School, Mortar Leaders Course, and Reconnaissance and Surveillance Leaders Course.

Josh enjoys outdoor activities such as running, hiking, shooting, and CrossFit in his spare time.
