Captain Hunter Wood is a decorated veteran of the United States Army. Commissioned as an Infantry Officer from the United States Military Academy at West Point, he held various leadership positions, including Rifle Platoon Leader, Scout Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, Battalion Operations Officer, Ranger Instructor, and Company Commander.

Hunter served in storied units, including the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and the 6th Ranger Training Battalion. Captain Wood served a combat tour in Iraq and graduated from the U.S. Army Ranger School, Airborne School, Air Assault School, Pathfinder School, and Rappel Master Course.

In his spare time, Hunter enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, hunting, and shooting. He is also passionate about endurance sports, including running, swimming, cycling, and CrossFit.
