ECWCS Gen III Level 1 Bottoms are the ultimate in cold-weather protection. The level-1 bottoms are based on designs by the United States Army and Air Force, to protect soldiers in extreme weather conditions. As an undergarment, moisture wicking and antimicrobial properties were incorporated into the 100% polyester fabric. With flat lock seam technology that prevents friction, chafing and hotspot elimination, these pants are strong enough for frequent use.
